Hi,
My mum and dad are off to PMI tomorrow with Air Europa. They are going on a B734 flight UX1294. Has anyone flown with them and had good expieriences because they are a bit precausious as they have never heard of Air Europa. Thanks.

So why the rest of your sanctimonious drivel I don’t know
Funny you should mention ‘drivel’…

Michael.
“I wouldn’t deem supporting a charity as being crap and secondly, I travel to Thailand once a year. Hardly very often.”
Using that as a point in this discussion is wrong. Justifying your whingeing about the quality and price of food by using charities is unacceptable. Burger King and Macdonalds are non existent? Well, they certainly are in Somalia and the Sudan.
“Why would I need to give up a holiday to support a charity? I’m a full-time student, not in debt and working just about every free hour I have. I’m very comfortable indeed, so sacrificing a holiday in order to donate a few pounds here and there is not necessary.”
Bless. But assuaging your ego by telling everyone here that you donate to Oxfam is again unacceptable. This was a thread about the service on Air Europa was it not? Your first post was good and informative, it told Airline owner that there was no service but a seat. Excellent. So why the rest of your sanctimonious drivel I don’t know.
“You’ll also notice that my response was posted as a solution to Bmused55’s remark about the people who aren’t lucky enough to get meals. Of course, you forgot to mention that his post was completely unrelated to the thread as well.”
Yes, of course. Sandy’s remark, much as I hate to agree with him, shows the shallowness of your attitude to world poverty. As long as you get your month in Thailand you don’t mind dropping the odd fiver in the box. But heaven forbid if someone should ask you to pay a fiver for a sandwich.

‘Support Oxfam’ Try giving up one of your holidays before spouting that crap!
T5 if you can afford to go to Thailand as often as you do for a month at a time you can afford a fiver for a sandwich.
Why don’t you put a sock in it, too?

So I’m a liar, am I T5? 😀
Have a good look for yourself next time you’re there, eh?
Try looking towards the left of the terminal building on the upper level Departures floor……..
I don’t know, are you? I don’t seem to recall saying such a thing. As per usual, people who cannot interpret the simplest of things in the way in which they are intended.

Because a meal on the plane is part of my holiday! Also sometimes I have to do without a meal at the airport coz I am buying books and those postcards of planes they sell in airports. I luv that bookshop at EMA with all the aviation books, I always spend most of my holiday spending money in there.

Better words have never been spoken, Thanks Kev 🙂
Danair- you say you have your lunch or breakfast in the airport. Why do you need another one on the plane?

For Christ’s sake pack it in!!!!!!
‘I want a free meal’ Please, not again, ad nauseum….

danair, if you don’t have the time get up earlier.
T5 if you can afford to go to Thailand as often as you do for a month at a time you can afford a fiver for a sandwich.
Check in times of two hours? Thomsonfly and maybe Ryanair do 40 minutes?
All Airline Owner wanted was to tell his parents what to expect, not a debate on the profileration of no-frills service as it relates to airline catering or about how often someone should donate to OXFAM.
danairboy, if the only problem in your life is whether or not you get a meal on a flight you must be one very lucky man.
