Does anybody have an idea what the London > New York roundtrip costed in 1955 (enter DC-7C) – 1960 (enter B707) – 1970 (enter B747)? Today Virgin Atlantic sells LHR > EWR > LHR for GBP300. Will that be reduced even more when the 380 enters the scene?
