Air Force Two at Liverpool

Anyone get any good pictures of Condoleezza Rice’s personal 757 in the three days or so it was at Liverpool?
They parked it pretty close to the perimeter fence at the north-west corner, but views were badly obstructed by the clutter of small buildings. With a good lens you could see it rather better from the south side, but even then there was an Electra in the way when I went round.
She arrived after dusk, and despite unofficial hints she’d be departing today I woke up to discover that the Jack’n’Condi show had decamped to Baghdad overnight 😡 Is this the first time anyone’s flown Liverpool-Baghdad direct?
In the circumstances it would have been inviting a one-way trip to Guantanamo Bay to have sneaked airside without a pass…

Pedantic points accepted in the interests of accuracy! :p
However, as we’re going down that road, Baghdad-Liverpool ain’t the same as Liverpool-Baghdad. Anyone know better?

Oooh ooh ooh, I’m going to be the first to be the pedantic one! Technically Air Force 2 would only be used when the Vice President was on board, sadly Condi doesnt (yet) have her own callsign, so would have just used a normal SAM one probably.

On a more relavant note to the points raised, I remember when I was last at Liverpool, over 3 years ago now, there was a Monarch 757 that arrived, with blanked out titles, carrying injured British troops in from Iraq which I believe operated direct.

Yes, it has been over 3 years since the start of the Iraq conflict 😮

Probably, the a/c would have a light load with the not full passanger and cargo etc compliment. Also remembering the awesome power of the B757 :D.
