Air incident or crash Luton Airport between 15th August-30th september 1939

I have been asked to help a lady via the London Gliding Club. She is seeking information about her father, Peter Stanley , who was taught to fly with the Luton Flying Club. He had Royal Aero Club certificate no19554 which he pass with Tiger Moth Gipsy 130. On 15th August 1939. He was involved in a air incident or crash in a Miles Magester at Luton Airport. She says it was never taked about in the house. Can anybody help please.
