you can’T really call the FAA C.P.L papers exams, more like 15-16year old general knowledge.
Young Mr. Weaver,
With statement like that I would fail you in a Heart Beat, here in the States its the oral that is the most important test. remember the exaimer can ask you anything with-in you training. Ie what is the stall speed and how do you recover from a left to right hand wing stall.
Or in my case how much trim do you need for your B-25 yes these are questions that I was ask.

The FAA puts an awful lot of emphasis on the oral exam that’s part of the skills test. Those orals can be 40 minutes or longer — and if the examiner isn’t satisfied that you know the stuff he/she can stop the test (ie fail you) at that point. So don’t go thinking that once you’ve done the written that’s all you need to know.

cheers guys….
did another run through today after some cramming last nightand got 85% on the 167 questions in the confuser – im gonna give that airquiz on line a go so i get some variation on the questions.
Pretty good going i’d say! I hated air law and managed to get through with 80-something % (can’t remember exactly) and I mainly used the confuser. My advice would be to make sure you know that Chicago convention stuff – my exam was heavy on that stuff – all that business about sovereignity – have forgotten it all now but I knew it at the time!

Tony,
65% is not bad for a qucik look through the book!
There is a time limit but I can’t remember what it is. Good luck with it anyway.
