Couple of theories here. The plane was on an air test and returned to NWI which you can confirm at the weekend. Otherwise on the next day, an ‘Air Contractors’ ATR.72 left Stansted at 6.48pm for Schipol. 😉

My ‘new’ information is that the aircraft is due to be delivered on 1st October to Air Mandalay and the registration is going to be XY-A** :D.

The reference to Air Contractors may be as lessors?

Another movement in this very slow process ! The aircraft has its missing propellor fitted and has been conducting engine runs early this evening ! It may be gone tomorrow ???? but who knows ??? It still has it’s Irish registration with which it arrived, so where may it go ??? Keith.

Well the waiting is partly over !!!! Rollout occured today, although not into the best of positions ?? as you will see she is not flying off anywhere too quickly, with at least one prop missing, and huge areas of the fuse covered with brown paper and masking tape (blue peter comes to mind) 🙂
If you look back at the links to Air Mandalay provided, so nicely, by other people, I think you will agree they seem to have been a little more adventureous with the colour scheme this time ??
Hoping for better photos in the near future ???

Is the spray shop big enough for two ATR’s and they got them mixed up? (conspiracy theory at work). :diablo:
