Hi all, visited the fantastic AMC Museum in Dove DE on Sunday. This is a fantastic museum got in early and was treated to a tour of the new C5, B17, C119 and the restoration hangar. They were so friendly, I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Of course being a heavy metal fan you are at the end of the AFB runway so that helps.
Downside, it rained non stop all day and I mean rain! So here are some shots, the C5 actually moved in late 2013. the C60 has come up from Robin’s AFB and the newly restored AN-2 and the spares ship came from a local guy who had purchased them a few years ago but never got round to restoring them!
