Air Raid Precautions Publications Publishing?

I recently purchased a number of Southend-on-Sea Air Raid Precautions Publications, and want to do a feature about them on the website.

However I have a question relating to the legality of actually publishing them on a website where do I stand, is it legal to actually scan or photograph them for use on a website or will I be getting a knock on the door and marched off never too be seen again!

There was a collection of 100+ up for sale all stuck into a handmade ledger so I bought them not just because I wanted them but to make sure they remained in Southend.

They have all been photographed that was a task in its self as many of them are double sided, and to get the ledger to lay flat was a nightmare, sadly it is in a poor state through age, and is why I went for the photographing option rather than trying to get it to sit flat on a scanner which would have been a major task and would probably have resulted in the ledger finally giving up the ghost and disintegrating into a pile of loose pages on the floor!

Sadly a few pages are missing from the end of the war would love to fill the gap.
