On a clear day (like today!), I get to see and hear a lot of aircraft flying over my house at various heights. As I live close to both LHR and LGW, I see both twin-engine and four-engined a/c, and quite a few low-flying bizjets, which I assume are taking-off or landing at Biggin Hill perhaps…
What I would like to know is the various paths/air-routes that exist over my house, and to which airport/s these so-called ‘paths’ lead to?
Is there a website that can show me this, or can someone provide me with a diagram/map showing me what I am looking for if I PM them my address or post-code?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might be wrong but it sounds like some planes are for/from London City airport :confused: can you name the types off aircraft:D ?

James, sorry but my aircraft regonition skills are not that good when it comes to private jets…

Thanks Newforest, it certainly is a start. I have decied to e-mail BAA’s aircraft noise team at LHR to see what they can tell me…
One thing that I did not know is that they have names for each airport’s holding stacks, Gatwick has two – Willo and Timba.
Is this done to make things easier when communicating to aircraft…i.e “Join holding stack ‘Willo’ and await further instructions.” (apologises, I do not know the proper terminology used in an ATC transmission!)
