Air Transport Aux. pilots list

Has anyone a list of the names of ATA pilots ? in particular I am looking details for 3rd/Off, Agazatian. M. please?.
He was the chap who pranged Proctor KEX at Broxbourne in 1944.

Also I am seeking to find where RAF 39 MU. was based in 1945/6?

Thanks in anticipation for any help.

Monique Agazarian ran Island Air Services

‘Island Air Services’ first pilot was former wartime ATA flyer, Monique Agazarian, who later bought the company after it had decamped to Croydon. Some older readers may have been fortunate enough to enjoy a ‘spin’ in an IAS Rapide, a regular sight at Heathrow, flying incessant summer sightseeing trips over London in those leisurely 1950s days before the coming of ‘jetwash’. ‘Aggie’, as she affectionately became known, continued in light aviation, latterly with Aviation Training Services of Booker, until her death in 1992 at the age of 72.’

Seem to recall there maybe an article on her in the Moth Mag, particularly detailing the Rapide operation at Heathrow………..

ATA pilots list

My thanks to you both for the info, & sexuality of this pilot, which over the years my memory has no doubt played tricks on me in thinking M A was a man, maybe because both male & female pilots wore long trousers at that time — & in those days, trousers on women was just coming into vogue!!!!
Would some kind person please scan a pic or two of her to help finish my research into my memories please?
I was hoping, as a very long shot, that she would still be around to recall the day that she smashed LZ791 (G-AKEX) into a load of sandbags, that really would have been the ‘icing on the cake!!!

Her name was Monique Agazarian, joined ATA 18/10/43
left 30/9/45.(from ‘The Forgotten Pilots’ by Lettice Curtis)
As propstrike said she passed away a few years ago.

There are a couple of photos of her in ‘The Sky and I’ by Veronica Volkersz,I think she was at the Hamble pool in 43

‘He’ was a she, ie Monique Agazatian, who later operated an outfit flying Rapides at Heathrow in the 50’s, before the whole place got too big and busy.

She then ran a flight simulator business at Booker for many years, retiring in the mid 80’s or thereabouts. I think she is no longer with us.
