Air Wales will axe the following services from 20th Febuary:
NEWCASTLE-ABERDEEN
PLYMOUTH-CARDIFF
Which makes the Plymouth-Cradiff-Newcastle-Aberdeen service just Cardiff-Newcastle!!
Exeter-Cork will become 2weekly operating on MON and FRI
Newqauy-cork will operae 3weekly on TUES,WED and SUN
Cradiff-Paris Beauvais will operste 3weekly on WED,SAT and SUN
These basically sees them withdraw completly from Aberdeen and leave only one route from Plymouth; Plymouth-Cork via Newquay!! 🙁

I’ve flown with 6G several times to mainly PLH but to CWL as well on business. It’s a real shame that there will be no operator through to PLH from NCL now. When I flew down two weeks ago the CWL-PLH sector was about 50% full – which wasn’t bad for a Wednesday night – the tickets are rarely that cheap either!
I can’t understand their strategy though. They announced BRU and BHD from CWL but both leave before the PLH flight got into CWL. Surely it would have been better to make the PLH-CWL flight earlier so it arrived in time for more connecting pax – but that would be stating the obvious!
Oh well, leaves room for WOW to play the game. PLH-NQY-NCL would be a good one or maybe PLH/NQY-BRS-MAN-NCL but that’ll probably take too long! Wishful thinking!

I shed no tears for Air Wales.
Poor timekeeping has not helped their cause at ABZ, nor short-notice cancellations.
I am convinced there IS a market for direct CWL-ABZ flights.
Perhaps Eastern or Citystar may have a look at it.
LPL would maybe be more difficult, with MAN nearby. BLK was dropped by Citystar as they found the business market used MAN also.
Do AWW still fly routes for BMI Baby or has that finished?

Well, I hope Paris and Brussels do better for them this time than they did the first time around.
And definitely better than poor old Liverpool, that didn’t make it either of the times they tried.

They are very hard to keep up with.
True!!!
They keep chopping and changing their route network every month 😀
