Looks like they’ve sorted out the timings with the Liverpool service and the Aberdeen service is bound to be a huge success; I think it was BA’s most popular service from CWL when they operated it. Good to see some expansion at CWL! 😀

As someone who has just travelled by train from Runcorn to Cardiff and back in a day, i would have welcomed an air link from Liverpool to Cardiff. Yesterday proved a very long day, left Runcorn Station at 07.30 and got back at 22.30. Their were no delays or any problems on the trains it just takes a very long time.
I think Liverpool to Aberdeen should also prove popular as well, this route has operated in the past and was well supported.

At one point, LON-ABZ was the BA route with the distinction of having the highest % of Gold FF card travellers. Oil workers fly to ABZ every fortnight and they alone would make the route work, even without the other traffic.
Eastern fly MME-ABZ and I think they just upgraded from J32 to J41.
……..and they do it 4 times a day with fares that are hardly ‘bargainous’!
NCL/ABZ was always a great route for Gill Airways and I suspect it continues to be for Eastern seeing as they have upgraded that to a jet service nowadays. MME/ABZ also served Gill extremely well and don’t HUY and NWI have multiple daily serves to ABZ too? Clearly there is a demand to ABZ.
I agree with Mongu in the opinion that ABZ is safe. CWL/ABZ should prove to be a fantastic route for Air Wales.

Spoofing IP addresses is child’s play for anyone who even remotely knows what they’re doing, GLA.
For instance, one could use a different proxy server for each log-in. Quick and simple to set up.
I just knew that working in IT Security would come in handy one day. :diablo:

So just coincedence that you all like the same airline, all from GLA and all post in the same biased manner?

Indeed, very good news.
GLA – It seems you have something to hide with so many user names, and only say its good news when it involves GLA!
When did i say it was bad news? Also please do show me my other usernames because i cannot think of them, perhaps we should ask the webmaster to check the IPs on the usernames that are apparently mine! There is more than one GLA spotter in the world you know.

I cant see the ABZ flights lasting.

If it was direct and operated by BA then maybe yes, but it is operated by a airline that people in Aberdeen will never of herd of and i cant see them doing much advertising.
It’s a very naive view, to assume if it isn’t BA then it will fail. We’ve been competing with BA for the past 12 years+ on routes ex-ABZ, with little or no advertising and we are still going strong.
People up here know that there are other airlines, apart from BA, that operate out of ABZ.

LPL-CWL is the closest N.Wales-S.Wales link we’ll have, if they don’t start to Hawarden, Valley or Caernarfon!
Good work my flag carrier!
