Airband radios

Hi

After many years using my old analogue civil airband radio (usually cursing it as I try to tune it between 118.5 and 118.7 using the dial!!) I am after a new radio/scanner for listening to civil and military aircraft. After looking on the internet, there seems to be far too many choices 😀

I would like to get a radio with a reasonable number of memories, with a digital readout of the frequency. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, reasonably cheap (£100 max if possible) radio and a suitable store to get it from. I have seen one on the back of Flypast (Alinco DJ-X3) that looks interesting.
