AIRBASE Nimrod engine run?

First, for those that don’t know, AIRBASE at Coventry will be closing for the winter at the end of this month and re-opening next Easter. The night-time engine run event on December 11th is unaffected

Secondly, I heard today, that, on the last weekend of the season, it is hoped to run the engines of the Nimrod – October 23rd/24th. I believe that RAF engineers are due to visit this week to instruct CF on the necessary proceedures.
