PS: Thai had two 747-400 “Barges” – HS-TGJ and HS-TGO – so obviously now ‘GJ is repainted there is but one, plus the A330 “barge”

If the purple went a little more forward then it would be fine. HS-TGJ was also Royal Barge.

If that plane was HS-TGO then it was the Royal Barge scheme. I personally hate it on the A340 but I rather like it on the 747
