…be easier to install a holodeck wouldn’t it?
What, like the holodeck in Star Trek? Genius, that would be brilliant!

Interesting, thanks!

Thus, the real difference berween a 747BBJ and A380ACJ is the upper deck of A380.
Interesting, thanks!

It would be one heck of a CJ though! Even with x amount of cars and luggage, I’m not sure you’d be able to totally fill the belly, in which case some of that space could be used also.
Actually, the belly of an A380 has less space than the belly of a 747 non-SP. Really. The same height, allowing 163 cm high container – luxury sedans can get in, ATV-s and SUV-s cannot – slightly wider and shorter.
Thus, the real difference berween a 747BBJ and A380ACJ is the upper deck of A380.

Qatar was rumoured to be a 380CJ customer.

Hope it makes them happy!
For that money you’d get one hell of a yacht.Btw, Cunard’s QM2 costed about as much as those two glitzy A380. Coming at a 150.000 tonnes against 550t for one A380CJ.
They probably have one hell of a yacht allready 😮

Oh sheesh NO!!, imagine getting scudded with a frozen golf ball dropped from 40,000 feet. ouch!!
You’d just have to make sure you paid attention to the tannoy fitted to the outsite of the aircraft screaming “four” :p
Could you imagine that A340CJ c/s on the A380! I quite like it on the A340, but not sure it would work at all on the A380.
It would be one heck of a CJ though! Even with x amount of cars and luggage, I’m not sure you’d be able to totally fill the belly, in which case some of that space could be used also.
For the amount it will cost to buy and run, just for the novelty of it and not the practicallities (pax/cargo), it does kind of make you think (well it does for me) about the money imballance in the World 🙁

Well, what else can you do when all your wives want to go to Harrods on the same day.

As long as the holes actually let the balls drop out of the plane.

Imagine putting a bowling alley onboard and using it during take off :diablo:
I wonder if they will install a swimming pool, cinema or any other similar facilities onboard?

I’d bet one is for the Amiri flight and the other is for the Saudi guys who have the fancy coloured A340…is it SAAD they call themselves ? Or maybe the Sultan of Brunei has been saving up 😀
