Airbus new house colours!

I read an article published by Flug Revue which mentions that the A380 will be used to unveil Airbus’s new house colours. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what these looked like? Cheers.

Sad I like the “old” Airbus colors. Look so clean.

From what people have said about Airbus’ previous aircraft, I am lead to believe they normally come in overweight. Maybe the new colours will just be polished aluminium with the odd Airbus logo here and there to try and keep it down a bit. I don’t know the exact weight but I guess you would be looking at a ton or two to cover such a large aircraft. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

:p False pills?

HA HA… I like your thinking.

It is true that airbus find it particularly difficult to meet their own targets in respect of weight.

But if they have to leave the prototype unpainted… that means no one else can paint theirs either… lol

It’s been a poorly kept secret for a long time that Airbus would use the A380 to launch it’s new house livery. I suspect that’s the reason Boeing have relaunched with their excellent new design ?

I’ll have to update my Airbus house colours model collection presumably?
