Came across this distinctively suspicious aluminium at Morston Quay (North Norfolk coast) the other day. Apparently its from a WW2-era decoy site around the Salthouse/Weybourne area – hence why it would appear to be filled with some kind of concrete. Another theory is that it is from Lancaster LM720 that hit the pylons at RAF Bard Hill above Salthouse.
Anybody shed any light on it?:confused:
