Hopefully the moderators will be OK with this thread, as it is along the lines of the Evilbay thread.
Many of the various auction houses up & down the country occasionally have aircraft parts etc up for auction, so I decided to start this thread to let fellow forumites know what bits are currently up for auction “not what has already been sold”.
If any one else hears of bits that are up for auction, please feel free to put the details on this thread.
Also feel free to discuss “sensibly” whether the items are what they are supposed to be, starting price etc.
My first few items are-
RECONNAISANCE CAMERA “SAID TO BE FROM A MOSQUITO”- LOT 443 up for auction at Truro auction centre on the 8th of this month.
AUTOGRAPH ALBUM WITH SIGNATURES FROM BADER, GIBSON ETC- LOT 204 up for auction at Bellmans of Billinghurst on the 6th of this month.
R1155 RECEIVER- LOT 489 at Marlows of Stone (Staff’s) on 7th of this month.

Bamfords of Derby have a couple of RR engine rocker covers up for auction, one is for a Merlin the other is for a Griffon, the Merlin one is supposed to be from a Spitfire- Lot 659 on the 28/8/14.
