Aircraft ID needed

Greetings,

I’ve been wondering what sort of aircraft this may be, certainly not a P-51, although American-built. Any ideas?

It’s a T-34. Aside from the canopy, the step plate and assist handle match.

Too small for a T-28, I go along with it being a T-34.

In ’98 on a trip to the States, I was lucky enough to fly in both types, but cant remember that much about the 34. I knew I had to climb up the side of the T-28, for its such a big beast. It doesnt help matters when you’re scared of heights!

Hi Arm Waver,

I am inclined to believe it is an early T-34A.

Thanks,
