Aircraft movements at Duxford – one for Ashley ?

I seem to remember from previous posts that the movement of aircraft out of Hangar One at Duxford is due to happen this week.

Anything happened yet, Ashley ?

If not, can you say when things are due to start moving around ?

Fyi…the Hangerbase I believe is the site of the old Hanger that was blown up for some film that was partly filmed at Duxford…some of you might have seen it…now if I could just remember what it’s called…;) 😀 :p

According to the Duxford Diary (IWM staff monthly newsletter), this is due to start on 19th April, to be completed by/on 18th May. Concorde and the Comet will remain in Hanger 1 until 17th July. However, from 23rd April, Hanger 1 will be closed Monday to Friday, with access to Concorde only granted at weekends.

Does that answer your question? 🙂
