Did not know about any open day either. Did XL426 perform engine runs ?

I passed that convoy on the way back this evening westbound on the M25. Looked good! Annoying thing is, is that I was staying at the Holiday Inn at SEN last night, and didn’t know about the open day. I could have gone too! Hope it went well. At least I got a look at the two Typhoons on the ramp.

The Buc looked really good. I saw them at jct 29. I had hoped to get to SEN for the afteroon but unfortunatly other commitments got in the way.

On their way to Southend for the Vulcan day, from Doncaster. Bucc, Canberra, DH125 and Valletta.
