If you could drag an aircraft of yesteryear kicking and screaming into the 21st century, which would you choose and why?
My choices:
PBY Catalina
Because I’ve always had a thing for flying boats and the PBY is the quintessential flying boat. Same roles as before: MPA/SAR.
A-4 Skyhawk
A new “Freedom Fighter” and STOBAR-capable light fighter. KISS.
And because a Scooter with an F414 behind it would go like a bat out of hell. 😎
