I wonder if anyone might be able to shed some light on a aircraft part i recently found at Binbrook.
The only numbers i can see to work out so far due to some corrosion is as follows.
A110?37A
In a oval plate PC1? 434
Im unable to load pictures at moment due to my photobucket playing up but any help in identyfing a/c type or where the part would fit would be very greatfull

Turret boy where abouts in the turret would the part be fitted ?
If you have diagram that would be great
It’s mounted to the rotating ring opposite the rotation motor.

Lanc exhaust…would look a treat with bilt hamber removing corrosion
I’d use glassbead 🙂 see here:

So guys it looks like its more a Lancaster crash site than a Battle i guess by the sounds of it.
Shall have to do a bit more research then.
I have found several other pieces on the site so shall get them photographed tomorrow and post them up.

The first piece is a “special vertical roller” found in most FN turrets.

Those parts look like good candidates for de-rusting by electrolysis 😉

Here is another part i found yesterday at the site.
Hopefully this might id the parts / type of a/c it is.
This is defiantely a merlin exh stub but didnt know if anyone could id the type of a/c it was used on by the desighn of stub.
I think maybe it is Fairey Battle I but hopefully somebody could confirm this for me by the numbers i have quoted.
Thank you

I think something was bolted into it but cant really tell as its corroded inside,Or it could be like a spigot/swivel point mounting.

Interesting item sorry I can’t help. Would it be something to do with antenna? What is the item in the middle?
