Aircraft Part numbers & WW1 SSZ Scout Airships

Hi, quite a few years back I purchased this control column from the estate of a deceased aviation collector in the United States. His family stated that they believed it was from a WW1 period SSZ Scout airship.

I believe that two airships of this class did operate in the United States. 

There are two part numbers on the column these being C-483-1 and C-483-2.

So that I can independently verify the provenance and authenticity or this item, does anyone have any interior cockpit pictures of the SSZ Scout airship or know which aircraft or manufacturer the above part numbers may belong too?
