Aircraft part or not aircraft part

I was given this alloy and bakelite object.
The farmer believed it was from a Hurricane which crashed on his farm C1941

It has the following serials on the base

7020/3
07/A
JUN/4

On testing again,
You are right, the base is lead with alloy terminals surrounded in Bakelite.

Alloy? Is it not lead? Battery terminal post – certainly looks similar to ones I have found and numbering is similar to AM Refs, but not conclusive – anything else found?
