Hello,
I came across this (what I think is an aircraft part) in a corner of a field, it looks like it has been used as a pigsty or something similar.
My best guess (if it is an aircraft part) is the chin off a Vickers Valiant, so in the photo it would be upside down. It seems to have a metal edge with the majority being made from a composite materiel which makes me think it is a radome. Any further ideas?

The HQ of 25 MU was located at the village of Hartlebury which is South of Kidderminster in Worcestershire. The MU was split over a number of sites most accessed from the Kidderminster to Droitwich road. The MU has been closed for over thirty years but many of the buildings still stand, in use as industrial units and storage depots.

They were commonplace in the vicinity of Hartlebury at one time (usually in use as animal shelters). Interesting to see that at least one survives. I was always told they were Valiant radomes. Also that they were only used in the size they came as because they were near enough impossible to saw into smaller sections (this was before diamond saws).
