Back in the autumn the topic of ROC Aircraft Recognition Cards came up on a thread and Sky High was able to secure some of those items from NAM’s Shop. In one of my posts I mentioned a new idea that was going to come out of NAM and I’m pleased to report that some details have now been added to the museum website about an Aircraft Recognition Competition.
Not only can you test your recognition skills when you next visit NAM but between January and March 2010 you stand a chance of winning a prize when doing so.
Further details can be found here along with the competition rules.

I’ve been over at NAM this morning and I’m told that the chances of winning a prize in this competition in January are very high! 😀
Don’t forget to ask for an entry form when you go in!! 😉

Anyone – tempted to try their ‘recognition skills’ tomorrow?
Happy New Year from Newark! 🙂

No problem – get some practice in with those cards! 😀
There has been some debate about the date of the anniversary and whether to include the ‘Royal’ tag; mainly because the Corps didn’t get their warrant until the Second World War.
Nevertheless from Saturday 2nd January it looks like being fun! 🙂

Thanks, Twin Otter – I really hope I can get up to Newark in the first couple of months of the New Year. Particularly as it celebrates the 85th of the RoC.
