Hi
I wonder if anyone would be interested in seeing these..
I’ve recently been clearing out my fathers affects from his garage and came across a photo album with some pics taken by him in (I think) the 1920’s. I wonder if anyone can throw any light on some of the aircraft, we think they were taken at Shoreham Airfield or Brighton Airport as its now called as there was another picture with Lancing College in it. Unfortunately the pics are not that clear, the original prints were only about 3″x2″ and a bit faded.

These I’ve worked out to be Supermarine Southamptons, which sort of gave me the 1920’s date for all the other photos

These look to be inline engines with 2 bay wings

Again biplanes, maybe radial engines with large cutouts in the top wing

Seems to be an Autogyro, with short stubby wings.

Another biplane but not very clear

This look like a flying wing, but again not very clear, thinking something like a Westland Pterodactyl

And this ones a bit macabre, looks like a burning plane
