I attended St Julians High School Newport, South Wales in the late 1940’s early 1950’s and I can recall the remains of an aircraft in a “Dingle” behind the school. If memory serves me correctly it was a Brewster Buffalo, but with the passage of time (and Braincells!) I could be wrong. Does anyone out there have any information about this?

Well, I live in Newport, (since 1980, when I was 8) and my sister in law went to St Julian’s, and indeed, lives across the road from it (Does ‘Heather Road’ bring any memories back, Alan?!) but I’m afraid I know nothing about any aircraft recovered there.
