That night shot is brilliant with the younger – but equally scarce – 727 and DC-10 looking on. The Cirrus sitting there just looks wrong compare to the beauty of the DC-7.

I have a series from a single flight. Vienna to Tokyo on an Austrian A340.
The weather was not very nice for departure
climbing out
Soon we were through the night and flying toward sunrise in the east
different shades of sunrise

Japanese coast around Tokyo
