Aircraft You've Been On

Just curious as to the airplane types others have flown in. In your list, only include the types you’ve flown on when flying with airlines. Private flights or military service isn’t what I’m looking for……..just the planes you’ve flown on when with an airline.

My list is small, but here it is….

Jetstream 31 (Northwest Airlink)
Saab 340B (Northwest Airlink, American Eagle)
Canadair CRJ-200 (Delta Connection, US Airways Express)
Canadair CRJ-700 (US Airways Express)
Embraer ERJ-140 (American Eagle)
Fokker F100 (American Airlines)
Boeing 727-200 (Northwest Airlines)
Boeing 737-400 (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines)
Boeing 757-200 (Northwest Airlines)
Boeing 777-200 (American Airlines)
McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30 (Northwest Airlines)
McDonnell Douglas DC-9-50 (Northwest Airlines)
McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 (Northwest Airlines)

Lastly, I flew LAX-JFK-ATH-JFK-LAX in 1976 on TWA. One of these 4 segments could have been operated by a 707. The flights were taken in June on the outbound and August on the inbound. I was 2 years old, so unfortunately I have very little recollection of said trip. If anyone could direct me to some archive/database, I still have my passport from then and I could look up the dates.

Ah, reading through all your lists, I guess the majority of you are under 40 years old, as there are very few propliners in the lists. There are far too many boring Airbus and Boeing flights recorded, until you come to Interflug 62M’s list which shows he is ‘rather maturer’ than the majority and has flown on some truely wonderful propliners. Like him, I have experienced a good variety of types and here is my list: l:

You have a wonderful way with words……. 🙂 🙂

EGNM, what was your opinion of the Dash Eight? Was it noisy or uncomfortable? How spacious was the interior?

I enjoyed the Dash 8 – the Q400 was quite roomy, and certainly in my opinion a much more pleasent and comfortable cabin than the E145. The noise levels as with all turboprops are higher than jets, but certainly less than the likes of the ATP.
