That’s how i was brought up 🙁 Dad bought all the hornby, minic ships & scalectrix you could dream of, we were just never allowed to take them out the boxes. All still mint & in his attic 😡

Definately going to buy 1, doubt i’ll make it. I think it’s 1 of those kits that’ll hardly be purchased, disappear & go up in value.

Oh an investment eh. Personally if I buy a kit its to make not gather dust. That would be like buying a train set and never taking it out of the box
