Airfix Swordfish (new realease )

I’m planning to buy the latest Airfix Swordfish release, and to finish it in the Taranto Raid markings.

Can anybody confirm that the only long range fuel tanks carried, were fitted in the middle (navigator’s) part of the cockpit, and not on the centreline as featured in the kit?

The only picture I can find of a pod on the centreline mounting, shows it in connection with a trial searchlight mounting under the wings. It housed the power supply for the searchlight.

Any help will be greatfully recieved.
