Just been passed the same establishment as in my last post and they had 12 TSR2s on the shelf.
Asking how and why, I was told that they had been delivered earlier in the year and they were now clearing the warehouse of them. I found it all a little hard to believe and at the magic price of £11.99 each too!!
Best wishes,
Martin

Its weird how the kits still keep popping up. A friend at work told me that the local discount store had ‘some of those rare white kits you’d been after’ on the shelves the previous weekend…..so I left early and found three TSR2s there at the bargain price of £11.99.
Weird or what after all those months.

And no I didnt buy all three, giving someone else the chance to own one!

I can see one glaring omission in those decals–no RAAF Scheme. Yet there is one in Canadian and one in West German colours! Had history taken a different course, surely Australia would have been the first foreign TSR.2 customer. To my knowledge, Australia was the only foreign country to express an interest in the TSR.2 but were dissuaded by the then Chief of the Defence Staff Lord Mountbatten.

Modelzone in the Trafford centre has a few (or at least they did on Saturday) when him bought his two they said they had sold about 8 during the day.
Him has started on his already, for some strange reason he had in his head that it was a 1:48 scale, so was surprised at how small it was. Reckons it’s not gonna take much to knock it together.

TT,
Any details on those decals ?
I’ve not heard of them. Mainly because the Hannants/Xtradecal ‘what-if’ sheets seem to be in vogue……..

Where did you get yours from?
Eric/Ben..
I ‘Bought Them Now’ on eBay. One from a model shop trading on eBay and the other from Plastic Pastimes of Poole (01202-746964) who also trade on eBay.
Both were standard RRP of £16.99, but just type in TSR.2, you should find quite a few.
