Airforces monthly

I am chucking away my AFM MAGS and i noticed that the early editions pre 2000, have a lot thicker paper and the front page isnt so covered by one Big story..

I havent bought AFM for a few months now (i think i have missed 3) which is a long time for me considering i havent missed a copy since 1995!!!

I still love aircraft, and Aerospace in general (civil also) but going through the mags i wondered why i stoped buying them and lost interest in AFM!

has it gone down in quality? is the news that it brings stale ? maybe too many articles on the US and not enough diversity ? or not Technically informative enough ? (which differes from the recent erm.. anways.. long winded articles about re-energising things etc etc).

Maybe its not probing enough or on the bleeding edge anymore..

somethings changed thats for sure…

Anyone else feel the same?
