Hi all
Does anyone know what this is from? An undercarriage leg with this ref has just turned up.
Cheers

Hello WP
I know I have a paper somewhere that tells me what code belongs to what aircraft used by the RCAF. I know that the B-25 was 26JL and all subassemblies include that number. Maybe there’s a chance that that code is on this list and as soon as I find it I’ll post it.
Sincerely Gerry

Don’t go to too much trouble on my account. I only have a need for this sort of thing on a case by case basis, like the question that started this thread. The RNZAF Museum archive is quite nearby.
Having said that, I make a point of gathering up any tech info that comes my way, and my interest is in mid 30’s to mid 40’s British aircraft.
Have you considered either starting a small website of your own or seeing whether the owners of any of the links in this thread would be interested in listing your data?
Keep up the good work.

Personally my big thing would be British/Spitfire stuff as that is what I am working on. However whenever you decide you have an electronic list that is emailable I would like to get one.

Runs to several pages, hope to publish once I get more of a complete list.
In addition to all the RAF Section Numbers, what else would you guys like to see?
Have very comprehensive list of 6A items and what aircraft they fit. Can do the same with American instruments and their exchangeability with British instruments.
Could probably do a prop list. A small item on Spitfire part Numbers. What do you want to see guys?

I have a list which I welcome additions to. I have the run of the mill aircraft and those of the 50’s & 60’s but would welcome more unusual RAF & Navy wartime aircraft. Also aircraft in the 126 & 526 codes, being US & French respectively.
Also compiling list for Section 36 & 136, engines.
If you do submit it would be useful to supply the Air Publication relevant to the Parts.
