Are any of you entering the Airliner World competition which has been running for a couple of months now?
There are some very special prizes up for grabs, courtesy of a number of airlines. For example, flights with Gulf Air, East African and others. Embraer are offering a range of desktop models, Emirates are offering a Chelsea FC football and T-shirt, signed by all the players.
The best prize on the list has to be the one offered by Lufthansa. It includes return flights from the UK to Germany and a flight on a Junkers Ju-52.
What was everyone’s preferred order of prizes?

I have a spare coupon if anyone is interested?
I think it’s coupon number 1, so obviously if you only have coupon 1 yourself, its not any good to you, since you need ones bearing different numbers.
My preferred prize is the one offered by Lufthansa, followed by Emirates and then the flights..!!

I entered it, as I subscribe to AW. My top 3 choices were the flights (Helios, East African and Gulf Air).

The weather’s been so bad I haven’t bothered making my monthly stroll into the city to buy one yet.
Well if its the August 2004 issue your talking about, you have missed the boat unfortunately, the September issue is now out.
I keep meaning to enter this competition, I would probably either have the LH prize or the Gulf Air Prize as my faves. Those Embraer models look mighty fine as well.
Last would probably be the Chelsea prize, even though I quite like Chelsea.
You could the ball and shirt on Ebay with a high reserve, and if you didnt get the money for it, just keep it and it might be worth even more money in a few years time!
