September Issue is going to be very good hehe 😀 😉

ETOPS Feature is excellent this month, and the A380 feature aint too bad either 😀

The EK pilot feature was also absolutely excellent.
Unfortunately I only started by Airliner World in April 2003, that coincided with me getting a much keener intrest in aviation. (Joined the forum in May 2003 😉 ), havent missed an issue since.

I agree about last months EZY feature, very interesting. And the one in the previous month, about the EK pilot. I didn’t realise they could choose their routes they want!
I’ve bought every AW since the first issue. And I still maintain that the first issue was the best one! About 10 pages with photos of all the BA World Tails, explaining the background and meaning of each tail.

I have bought every Airliner World for about the last 2 years, and I admit it went through a very rocky patch. But just recently its been getting much, much better.
Last months was absolutely superb, fantastic, in depth articles on Korean Air and Luxair, and the Easyjet cabin crew feature was one of the best things I think ive ever read in AW.
Cant wait to get this months 🙂
The best read for me was in one of the Summer 2000 issues, where a JMC Air DC-10 was pictured on the cover. I bought my copy at WHSmith at Gatwick Airport, just before boarding a flight to the Dominican Republic… on a JMC Air DC-10. JMC only had two DC-10s and just my luck to not be on the one that was on the cover.
Fortunately, we flew on this particular aircraft on the return leg jsut 2 weeks later – G-LYON. 🙂

I bought mine today althogh I didnt expect it to be out until next wedensady and I have to say its one of the better issues of the last few months a few of which have been diabolical.
That’s precisely the reason why I stopped my subscription about 6 months ago. I had subscribed for 3 years running and then gave up with the magazine because it was quite simply, rubbish.
Mind you, with an article about the new Bangkok Airport and the new-look Thai Airways, I expect this is one magazine I’ll get to read on the flight down to Paris next week 😛

I hate to bring this up (again), but I do totally agree. In the UK the price may be bareable, but over here the price has gone up to rouhgly 6 pounds (at current exchange rates). And the price seems to be increasing every 3 months!
To make matters worse, where I live it is next to impossible to get the mag. Availabillity seems to be going down here big time, which may or may not be caused by the outrageous price. The nearest store I know of that carries AW is half an hour away by car!
p.s. getting an subscription is for now not an option as I live in a temporary place

I see there is ad for another forum in this months AW
By: Grey Area - 9th June 2005 at 16:44
Yeah… with special discount rates and free Valium for Moderators…….. :diablo:
By: T5 - 9th June 2005 at 16:36
I think it would be great for the magazine to mention the forums and perhaps talk about what has been spoken about over the past month (since the last magazine).
As for discount, I can’t see that happening! 😉
