Hi,
As some of you know now I am off to Heathrow on Wednesday (27/10/04). I just want to clear up some airlines I want to find out if they operate there…..
Eva Air,
Lithuanian Airlines,
LOT,
Estonian,
US Airways,
Royal Brunei Airways.
I know QANTAS operates there but everytime I am there, I never seem to see any. Is this because they dont go there on a Saturday or do they arrive late at night or early morning?
I will be taking a camera so I will try to get some decent photos.
Thanks for any help.

thats clever. I always used to think codeshare agreements only worked if both airlines did that route.
wow, you do learn something new everyday…lol

Thats because Aer Lingus do, and BA codeshare with them through OneWorld, at least for the time being. BA offer their own services from LGW.

I got this off the Heathrow section on the BAA website:
http://www.baa.com/main/airports/heathrow/flight_information/destinations_frame.html
Destination Airline Terminal Code Telephone No.
Basle Mulhouse British Airways 4 BA 0870 850 9850
That’s a little ahead of it’s time… BA stopped flying to BSL 4 years ago [ex-T1], although the codeshare flights they’ve been operating with Crossair and latterly Swiss still operate from T2.
Until next Saturday, anyway. From Sunday onwards, BA resume the flights with no codeshare from T4.

My signature would have cleared up the EVA Air question for you, but you won’t see any of their 747-400s at this time of the year. The aircraft comes into Heathrow at about 7.30pm and leaves two hours later.
I think they also occasionally send MD-11s for cargo purposes into Heathrow, don’t they?

Thanks everyone.
‘robbelc’, Last time I was there on a Saturday they operated a 737 (YU-AOO).
It is a pain in the arse when it gets dark early…

The Royal Brunei 767s arrive early and leave a little before lunchtime. EVA md11s arrive mid afternoon. EVA passenger flights using 744 arrive around 7pm – when its dark now. LOT arrive around 9am, then again in the afternoon, then late evening. Air Malta turn up around 10am and then an evening flight. Check BAA for exact times apart from cargo flights. Qantas all arrive early and then are towed to the maintenance area normally. 285 bus from the main bus station will take you there and back for free!
