Yawn yawn yawn- here we go again. Stick to nonsense in Google newsgroup please. 😑

Just wanted to point out that Mr GSM125’s info was quite inaccurate REF “axed route” at Edinburgh. :p

I know what an axed route is. Its also pretty clear you are trying to start a GLA vs. EDI war here, grow up!

Other examples of axed routes are EDI-MUC, EDI-BOH and EDI-MAD πŸ™‚

Capital is a small β€œc” πŸ™‚ and their was no need to blow the Edinburgh β€œWE ARE THE CAPITAL” trumpet their.

Doesnt matter , big or small, the flight route wasn’t axed, AA to Chicago from Scotland is an example of an axed route, comprendi? πŸ™‚

Helsink to Scotland’s Capital wasnt axed, it was always summer only and apparently a big success!! πŸ™‚

Indeed, and with Sterling off the route it was easier to work out their load factor for September from the CAA stats which was 85% so hopefully they will increase the frequency for next summer.

I’d imagine (although I’m probably wrong) that one of the cheapest options with an excellent inflight service would be British Airways via Heathrow.

And with decent frequencies on both Glasgow-London and London-Helsinki, you can go at a time that suits you.

I think Finnair axed EDI.

Fly with KLM from Glasgow to Helsinki via Amsterdam or SAS via Copenhagen.
