AirNav Radar Box OR SBS 1er

Bowing to the wealth of better judgement on here, what are the pro’s & cons of both devices, set up, user friendliness etc…. for a complete computer novice.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I spend some of my childrens hard earned inheritance !

Cheers.

Paul,
Thanks for your reply, as it stands at the moment I’m being swayed towards the AirNav. 🙂
Cheers.

Russ,

I have the nav box and would not swop it for sbs. When i got it over a year ago it was up and running within 10 mins of getting home – setting it was very easy. At the time the prices of both were similar and it was only the size of the navbox that swung it for me – it is considerably smaller than the original sbs box so makes it much more portable. The new sbs-e1 is about the same size but is more expensive. Both systems do pretty much the same thing and I have done a side by side comparison between them with a mate of mine who has the sbs. Both system have good and not so good points but the end result is the same. Suggest you check out both websites and make a decision that way.
