Ok,this is going off Kabir’s idea of pic of the day,its pictures of airports,i will post a picture everyday as i think the idea of posting pics is great,gets members posting.
And so here is the first pic,its of Gatwick taken just after departure from 8R,in the background you can see both terminals and even the herald on the viewing deck

Good idea. I love aerial shots of airports, showing it from a different angle. Its also good trying to guess what aircraft are on the ground at the time – looks like a Virgin 747 just pushed back and a Monarch 757 on the south terminal satellite.
