Airport Security…booze v water v profit

By now, everyone knowes that airport security has banned carry-on luggage containing any liquid or gel,BUT after sooooo many protests from the duty-free sales of booze and perfume at airports, exceptions had to be made. You can now buy booze and perfume for carry-on,but water WILL be confiscated.
I reckon there’s not a lot of profit in water 😉

but on a serious note……

this latest episode with the liquid bombs is not after all the first attempt to use this type of explosive….

In 1995 it has been claimed that one Ramzi Yousef , the cell leader behind the ’93 attacks on the WTC , had planned on taking down 11 American 747’s using liquid explosives but without the use of suicide bombers..

its kind of scary….
