Airshow 1945 post war display including captured aircraft Film

Good stuff thanks for sharing. Is that a Typhoon/tempest I see as well as the Spitfire????

I have just read a book called”Lost in Shangri-La “which was about a C-47 that crashed in a remote valley in Papua New Guinea in 1945,three passengers survived and the book was the story of getting them out.In the end they were “Snatched in a WACO glider by a C-47 and just made it over a mountain ridge !So seeing the same “snatch technique in that film made me appreciate what was achieved back then!A good story.
