Airshow 2001

I posted this on the flypast forum a couple of weeks ago , might as well put it on the basket makers weekly forum for all the response i got. I know you guys are into modern heavy metal , but at least you’re awake.
Any ideas – original posting:-

I heard at the weekend, from a usually reliable source, that plans were afoot to bring some familiar and some previously unseen airshow visiting aircraft to the UK for 2001.
Fistly a Constelation, MATS i think is now sold -Europe? or is it the other US based example ?.
Secondly, – Confederate AF ,( which aircraft ?) to promote their name change.
Thirdly- the old Shackleton chestnut,has Air Atlantique been able to resolve the CAA problems ?.
And finally – Some more of the Swedish historic stuff, B17 etc.
Interesting stuff, any confirmation eagerly awaited.
