I really hope they move the show to another airbase. The “old” system on a different base every year like in the NL was way better, imho. Also, Florennes or Brogel would probably attract many more jets.

On saturday we had to look into the sun almost to see some tiny specs in the air…the fact that there was an immportant ground haze did not help either…
Even the static was bbacklit for most of the day!
The flight shots were very bad for me…I did not have a spotters pas…

Thanks Stieglitz – one to remember for next year!!

Small addition: The planes where allowed to fly a few 100 meters closer to the public line copared to the previous years. The biggest enemy to take good pics (as said before) is the sun. So there has been some improvement.
Just to be correct! 😉

The runway and flying is still very far from the public zone. But since last year, you can buy a special spotters ticket (which gives you acces on the airfield from friday until sunday in a special spotters corner closer to the flying machines) but this is rather expensive IMHO.

Hi Fly Fort
Pictures look very good – I went to Koksjide 2 years ago and the runway was miles from the crowd and the flying therefore even further away (and seemed to go on with no one really taking any notice) – the GAF F-4F Phantom I had been looking forward to taking pictures off was but a tiny dot in my viewfinder – has this changed and, if not, how did you get so close??!!

Good pics here Fly Fort. If you consider that most of the day, you need to take pics against the sunlight. Sadly, today the Mig 29 stayed on the ground due to a technical problem.
Did you take a pic of the Flying Legends team (the WW2 trainers?).
