Airshows in the US

Next year one of my friends is getting married and we are all wanting to go to the states for a week. We are looking at going March, April or early May. Just wondered whos been to airshows over there where you get a good mix of old and new but we really want to see a modern military hardware show! Also to see the blue angels ould be nice! Please post your views and any pictures!!!

Also regardless of the time of year, is there one event in the states which is the main USAF airshow where they display all types? Similar to RIAT?
