Airstrip Info Request… Corregidor

So, while finally (6 and a half years later) sorting/shuffling/captioning my Philippines tour pics, I came to the Corregidor airstrip terminal/tower.

Due to extenuating circumstances (cranky now ex-wife) that day, I failed to collect any information on this little strip and its history. Can anyone else here help fill me in on this little gem’s past. Obviously the lovely little building is of more recent construction, but I’d especially like to see if anyone out there perhaps even has shots of its past use.
