Re F-104s
Hello All,
Turkey retired its 104s in the mid 90s, (1994 i think) and Taiwan did the same about 1998.
There are/were plans to return one to flying condition in Norway in about 2003, I don’t know what the story is at the moment.
I doubt there are any airworthy aircraft in Canada.
Cheers
Tim

I believe that a collector up in Canada has an airworthy CF-104.

How about Turkey, they are always at RIAT, but never fly in the display. Presume that one of the US examples was the one featured in the film ‘The Right Stuff’, though I heard a rumour it was borrowed from the Luftwaffe as no examples were flying in the States at the time.
I went to a craft fair at Lakenheath a few years ago and 2 Italian ones were parked next to the hangar, much to my astonishment.
I questioned the 2 armed and enthusiastic American guards but they had no idea of what the a/c were.
